DMCA Takedown Policy

Last updated: January 2026

QuantCDN maintains DMCA safe-harbor status by following notice-and-takedown procedures. This policy addresses both takedown notices from copyright holders and counter-notices from users.

Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice

Before You Submit

Please consider the following before filing a DMCA notice:

  • Verify the truthfulness of your claims under penalty of perjury
  • Investigate thoroughly before filing
  • Attempt direct contact with the alleged infringer first
  • Ensure the complaint involves actual copyright infringement
  • Use human review, not automated detection systems
  • Understand that counter-notices may be filed within 10-14 days

Your DMCA takedown notice must include:

  1. Acknowledgment that you have read QuantCDN’s DMCA guidelines
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work allegedly infringed
  3. Specific location/URL of the allegedly infringing material
  4. Description of remedial actions needed
  5. Your contact information (email, name, phone, address)
  6. Alleged infringer’s contact info if known
  7. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
  8. A statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act
  9. Your physical or electronic signature
