This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”), combined with QuantCDN’s Terms of Service, establishes binding obligations for all customers and website visitors. We expect users to act responsibly and respect other internet citizens.
1. Prohibited Activities
QuantCDN explicitly forbids the following activities:
Spam & Email
- Unsolicited bulk commercial emails (spam) unless recipients explicitly opted in
- Email header manipulation to deceive or conceal identity
- Operating unprotected mail relays that could enable spam distribution
- Hosting websites that link to spam messages
- Domain services that support entities violating these rules
Users must cooperate with removal from Spamhaus listings at their own cost.
Intellectual Property & Security
- Copyright, trademark, and patent violations
- Pirated software distribution
- Hacking and security breaches
- Unauthorized computer access, including account intrusion or vulnerability scanning
Harmful Content
- Threatening, defamatory, obscene, or harassing material
- Hate speech targeting individuals based on identity characteristics
- Displaying affiliation with extremist organizations
- Sharing hate-related symbols or materials
Other Violations
- Child exploitation materials (absolutely prohibited)
- Fraudulent activities
- Privacy violations and unauthorized data collection
- Unlicensed third-party software use
- Network attacks that disrupt other services
- Malware distribution
- IRC hosting and related activities
- Any illegal activities
2. Disruptions & Security
Service Suspension
QuantCDN may suspend service if AUP violations are suspected. Customers must reimburse associated expenses including legal costs.
Security Responsibility
We may disable service if it’s targeted by attacks or interferes with other customers’ services, regardless of fault.
Refunds
No refunds are issued for terminations due to AUP violations. Customers bear responsibility for their account usage, including unauthorized access by third parties.
Backup & Recovery
Customers are responsible for maintaining their own security infrastructure and backup systems.
